Under the knife

So the boys both got to have surgery.
Dawson was easy. He was in and out in under 15 min. He only had ear tubes put in. He looked so tiny in his little hospital gown.

Then it was Justin's turn. He was happily waiting in his room watching cartoons and wasn't even scared at all when they came to wheel him out.

Justin had ear tubes put in and his tonsils and adenoids taken out. He was not a happy camper. It was so pathetic, he just lied there and had silent tears running down his face because it hurt to cry out loud.

A little later in the recovery room he was still a little loopy. I asked him to show me his IV and he wasn't quite sure how to do it. So i told him to just put his hand by his face.

This is about an hour later, right after told him what the IV was doing. He was amazed to find out that he could drink water through his hand, and wanted to show daddy.

We had to stay in the hospital for a few hours, which was good because he kept throwing up blood.
All in all, a real fun day.
