Alison turns 1

She walks, tries to talk, and sleeps in a toddler bed.
What a big girl!

Now for the cake.
The most anticipated part of turning one.
We had the camera rolling,
the light set, just waiting to catch the mayhem to come.
Cake all stuck to her hands,
frosting smeared from ear to ear as she unceremoniously stuffed her face with it.....
.....(sigh) This is all we got.
She very slowly, and meticulously,
put bite by bite in her mouth until it was gone.

And this was all she wanted to do with her present.
Once it actually opened she was bored with it.Ahhh to be one again.

Our Vacation\11months old

11 Months old
She has walked a few steps, and has 4 teeth.
She says; dada, mama, ya, yes,
and once I swear I hear her say the word, stick.

We started our vacation on the road.
Dawson did a lot of this.......

We then went to Lake Powell,
where cliff diving was the highlight of our day.

The kids just loved the warm water and sand. LOTS of sand.

Arizona here we come!!

Once we arrived at the Homestead, this was our barracks.

The rope swing was a big hit for Justin this year.
Ok, Ok, Jacob and I enjoyed it as well.

Our motley crew.

Ali has a blast on the "playboy".
Yes that's it's real name.
No I didn't give it that name.

The boys had a BLAST catching crawdads.

They were surprisingly good at it,
considering all they had were; sticks, string and hot dogs.

This is where we stayed the night on our way back to reality.

The next day, we stopped by the river for a quick lunch.

Then we picked up some souvenirs, and continued on our way home.

J/K. The Indian wouldn't fit in our car.
So we got some smaller things from inside the store.

THE END!!

Happy B-day America!!

10 months old
I walk while holding someones hand, I clap all the time, and
I say; Dada, ya, and sometimes even Yes.

We spent the 4th up at our friends cabin, so we missed all the usually events.
The kids still said it was the best ever!

9 months old

Wow, I totally missed her 8 month old pics. Oops!
And she does not look happy about it.

29 1\2 in long (and finally back on the girls charts)
19lbs. Nope, she hasn't gained weight.

She loves to be outside, or anywhere she can crawl around after her brothers.
We're not sure why Dawson is making that face.

In loving memory of my grandpa, Thomas Earl Dastrup.
He will be greatly missed.

Popcorn popping

I looked out the window and what did I see,
two boys climbing in the apricot tree.

The boys were so excited that our tree blossomed this year,
they had to get UP close and personal with it.

After trimming it almost to death this year, we were worried, but it pulled through.
We won't have a ton, but there will be enough to keep the kids happy for a while.

7 months

7 Months old
I don't know how big she is,
because she didn't have a Dr. appt this month.
But she is getting huge!

She loves to play with toys, and she is crawling all over.
They boys love to put her in the hamper, and push her around the house.
She thinks they are just the funniest two things on earth.

6 months old

I am getting chunky!!!

I sit up, and I love the tub!!

I crawl, but only backwards.
Mom loves it when I get stuck under the couch, she thinks it's cute.....................................................I don't.

5 months old

5 months old, and she is really starting to chunk out.
26 1\2 in long
16 lbs

She loves her jumper!!!
She can roll all over the floor, and is starting to try to sit up by herself.
But I won't be at all surprised if she crawls before she sits up.
She is the only kid I've had, that would rather be on her front that her back.
And boy does she want to move.

4 months old\6 years old

Justin turns 6

Justin started kindergarten this year, and is loving it.
He also got a new sister in the same week, and is a very good big brother.
He lost his first tooth, and also got to ride a sheep in the rodeo.
All in all, a pretty good year.

4 months old

Alison weighs in at 15lbs -75%
26 1\4 in long-97%
(she is finally back on the growth charts for height)

She talks all the time, and can now roll over both ways.
She always wants to be up right so she can see, and she is loving baby food.
Once, believe it or not, she even got into the crawling position.
But she promptly face planted. Whew!
