Pumpkin Patch 2009

The pumpkin patch this year was soooo much fun, though it was harder trying to keep up with two boys rather than just one.

They raced up the hay stack. Which didn't really work because Justin had to keep coming down to help his brother.

Dawson loved the hay ride.

Yes, Jacob got the pic and let him fall. Don't freak out, he was fine.

This was the rubber duck race, but all the ducks were gone.

We're still picking corn out of his cloths, among other places, thanks to the GIANT corn box.

The blob was by far the best. It's like the coolest trampoline ever. It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's Super Justin.

Poor Dawson kept getting knocked down, so he resorted to using it as a slide.

Now this was just funny.

Dawson was totally freaked out for the first 5 min.
We made our way through the pumpkin patch, but just to look around and ride in the wagon. We grew our own pumpkins at home this year.

Next our our list of fun was the peddle carts. Last year they had big carts for adults, but this year we had to make do with the kiddie ones.
Justin drives like a maniac. We took the boys through the corn maze, but I was to busy reading the map to take any pics. oops. I also missed the pig races, the petting zoo, the lassos, the kiddie maze and most importantly.............A FAMILY PIC. AHhhhhhhrrrrrgggggggg. Oh well. Next year.

Picture time at the train yard.

For the life of me I could not get both of them to look at the camera
at the same time, let alone smile.

But they did have fun playing on the tracks.

And Dawson was very intrigued by the wild flowers.

He was being so cute, trying to be just like his brother.
I just love trains. They make the best back drops.

Fire Hydrant Man(my boys new hero)

I have decided that, for a kid, the best day of the year, other than Christmas of course, has got to be when the guy come to clean out the fire hydrants. This is the first time my boys have ever seen it. Me to for that matter. The guy was so cool about it. I think he was having just as much fun as the kids actually. He played with them, turned the water off and on, and even let them have a turn with the wrench.

Then he would turn it way down and have the kids sit right in front of it, then crank it on to see how far it would push them.
Just pretend he is on the beach, okay.

Dawson was terrified. This is as close as he would get.

After the guy left, Dawson just stared at that stop sign for like a full minuet. It was like he was waiting for it to get up and dance or something. But it did make for a good pic.

Camping Rocks!

The Jeppsen/Hardin camping trip.
We had to keep Dawson in this obnoxiously orange vest because he kept running off.

This is the elk Justin shot.

This is the boys playing, "hunt'n guys."

We caught Dawson "red handed" having seconds, or thirds on cobbler.

Jacob, Julie and the kiddos just chillaxin in the hot springs.

LOOK! DAD LOOK!

Our humble abodes.
The three boys shared the little one in the middle, and Dawson slept in the car.

The End.

The invention of the decade. Bunkbeds!

One day, the boys got tired of sharing a bed.

So daddy got right to work.

Justin helped sand.
And before you know it...........Whala!!!!!!!!! Bunk beds!!!!!
You would have thought Christmas came early.
Dawson must have laid there for 15 min straight.
And Justin thought he was soooooo cool being taller than mom.
Oh what a happy ending.P.S. The boys didn't really have to share a bed. They just like to sleep together.
But that pis was to cute, I had to work it in somehow.

Pre-K graduation at the ZOO

These are the pre-K kids.
They had a blast at the Zoo, but I think they liked the fake animals they could climb on, more than the real ones.

My little fishermen

!8 month old Pre-mish pics.

First time he slept in his "Big Boy Bed". Priceless!
